Designer Room Challenge: Battle of the Bloggers

What happens when DIY design, crafting, and decorating are combined together in a friendly competition? You’ll have to come find out this year at the Deseret News Home Show! Local bloggers will be rolling up their sleeves to go head-to-head in a room design challenge in the Blogger vs. Blogger contest. Each team will complete their room design masterpieces in a limited time and with a limited budget while using items solely from ReStore.
Midge and Madge are two best friends who host a weekly television show called Midge and Madge Mingle on My Craft Channel. These spunky bloggers love sharing their project reviews and tutorials and bring their viewers the latest and greatest from the crafting world. Their crafts and trendy design projects have been featured on HSN, CHA, Create & Craft USA, as well as with several other crafting companies.
Team Midge and Madge will go up against team Ronda Batchelor from the blog Batchelor’s Way in this fierce design competition. From DIY to organization and interior design to decorating, Ronda is passionate about all things design. She is a pro at finding the balance between style and function and she tackles every project with a tight budget in mind. She uses second hand materials to recreate entire rooms and documents her projects in real time. Her projects and room makeovers have been featured in Better Homes and Gardens, This Old House Magazine, and Cottages and Bungalows.
